 Holy shit man! 

The last post was 10 years ago! 

Sorry to say, the last relationship did not work out. It did lasted 5 years but you had doubt in the relationship during the 3rd and tried to make it work on the 5th. Things happened and you both decide to call it quits. She got married and you are also engaged now so I guess the both of us were just getting ourselves ready for The one in our individual life. 

SOOOO a quick update to you, the one in 2015.

You did your internship at Odette, a 3 michelin star restaurant. 

Then joined a start up with Chef Andy, the chef you met during your PT during CIA

Then you got asked to join Raffles hotel by Jun, your supervisor at odette. you went and you met great people there, some are still friends till today. 

6 months in you decided to move to FOH and you did relatively well i guess? Seeing that people are happy working with you and made it through your management trainee program. You managed to squeeze in your WSET 2 in wine and even joined a cocktail competiton. 

Then things didnt really went well at the restaurant you were in at Raffles. You were looking for a job and you got a call from Janet from MBS thus started your time there. You did enjoyed yourself with the enviroment and you did grow as a AM there. However, things didnt went well again due to management issue, you and the management team left after sometime. You got your tea somms cert during your time there 

You decided to try your hand at fine dining so you joined 3 star restuarant ZEN. Life was, different, as per say. Back to staff life, you did your best but it was a totally different system as compared to hotel life. so after 9 mths you called it quit. You got your wset lvl 1 in sake, lvl 2 in spirit, and coffee cert at this point. 

Back to Raffles it was and it has been one year since. In a few weeks time, you will be starting your life as a lecturer at ITE. 


Weird? yes. Interesting? yes. 

As for your personal life, you met someone during the covid period. She is interesting. She keeps you on your toes, she gets angry at you some time to time, but you just cant seem to get enough of her. 

So things are looking better? You finally got in a relationship where you don't doubt anything in the relationship, you just want to settle down with her and she shares the same sentiments. Life goals seems to be the same as well. Till an extent, maybe its true that all the past relationship seems to be just to get me ready for this. 

Problems? I doubt there will be none of it, but life seems to be heading in a positive direction. Looking forward to see whats ahead and i feel i should update this blog as least once a year. 

So, to you in 2015,

you did achieve quite a bit i guess? Surprisingly, it was a route you never thought you will take.

To you in 2026,

How is life? Are you resting more? are you spending more time together? are you happier? Hope to hear from you.

Countdown to 2014!

Well, its is finally the last day of 2013 :) it has been a year of change as expected, finishing poly to working at Broers and Flock, and now National service :) This are some of the main events that happen this year :) Met awesome people along the way, be it colleague or regulars along the way :) Definitely, there are some down moments, one of them is definitely losing her. Guess national service does left us with no time to spend with that special one. Maybe is the right one at the wrong time? Anyway, its over :) And like what i always felt, if it ends, means, there is something wrong and should just let it be. So for now, no new resolution, just do my best, at the main stuff next year :) - CIA interview -New Vocation -Spending time with the people around me -Just do my best :) Happy 2014! :D

2015

Never thought that after so long,I still need this place to rant out stuff, haha... so much for relationship after uni, so, I guess it serves me right to have all these problems in my mind right now. so end of 2014, I am going out with this girl she is perfect, in every way. except one. she had one thing I had always been avoiding. she is popular. been hiding from this after sec school. so how now? to accept it? to leave now?
